Keto recipes you can scale

August 1, 2026 · 4 min read

Most recipes assume one household size and freeze you there. Want to cook for yourself tonight and for six on Sunday? You're doing arithmetic in the margin, hoping you didn't drop a factor on the eggs. The recipes below skip that. Each one renders as a grid — ingredients down the side, cooking stages across the top — and a serving slider that resizes every quantity from a half batch to triple. Pick your number, read the new amounts, cook.

The table format suits some dishes better than others, and these were chosen because they scale cleanly. A cutlet, a loaf, a batch of patties, a tray of bowls: the ratios hold whether you make two servings or twelve. Countable oddments that don't divide neatly (a pinch of salt, one egg for binding) stay fixed or round sensibly instead of turning into "0.4 egg."

The recipes

Each of these renders in the scalable-table format. Open one, set the serving count, and the quantities recompute in place.

The same grid runs on Nordic recipes too, so if you cook across both, the format carries over — see the Nordic salmon patties for one on that side.

Scaling made simple

The math behind resizing a recipe is simple once someone lays it out. If you'd rather understand what the slider is doing, how to halve or double any recipe walks through the multipliers and the ingredients that don't play along. For the practical end of it, cooking for one or a crowd covers pan sizes, timing, and the things that shift when the batch grows.

And if the table layout itself is new to you, a recipe you can read at a glance explains how the grid works: read left to right, and each column combines what's behind it.

Whatever batch you cook, the per-serving macros printed on the card are an estimate. Copper Keto Companion runs the same net-carb math on the portion you actually plate — tell it "one crab cake with remoulade" or "a shawarma bowl" and it logs it against your day, no weighing. See the Copper Keto Companion page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I scale any of these recipes? Yes. Every recipe linked above renders in the scalable-table format, with a serving control that resizes from ½× up to 3×. Set the count you need and the quantities recompute.

Do the macros scale too? The per-serving macros stay the same no matter the batch size — a serving is a serving. The card shows the numbers for one portion, so doubling the batch doesn't change what one plate costs you. What changes is the total you cook.

Cups or grams? Both. The grid toggles between US volume measures and metric weights, so you can read it whichever way you cook. Weights are more accurate for baking; volume is faster for a quick dinner.

What if a quantity comes out fractional? Countable items that don't divide well — a whole egg for binding, a pinch of seasoning — hold steady or round to something sensible rather than showing a fractional egg. The amounts you can actually measure scale precisely; the ones you can't stay usable.

Where do I log the result? Speak the dish and portion into Copper Keto Companion and it works out the net carbs against your running total. It runs the same math whether you plated one serving or reheated a meal-prep portion later in the week.
