Nordic Diet Research

Nordic Diet Companion curates the primary research behind the Nordic diet — the validated food indices, the randomized trials, and the food-science studies — and annotates each source with what it actually found, including where the evidence is mixed, modest, or null. It reports research and recommends nothing; the app itself is a food and habit coach, not a medical tool.

About this index

Every entry links to a primary source — a peer-reviewed study, meta-analysis, or reference — that we verified by reading it, and each note reports the study's real numbers and limitations. None of it is medical advice or a recommendation, and we include null and conflicting findings on purpose. Nordic Diet Companion is a food and habit coach, not a medical tool; this index is an educational reading list, not a claim about what the diet will do for you. No entries are first-party; these are all independent sources.

How it's curated

Primary sources only

Peer-reviewed studies, meta-analyses, and official references — each verified by reading the source, never a blog summary.

Factual, not prescriptive

Each note reports what a study found — with its real numbers and its limitations. We surface the evidence; we don't give advice.

Including the mixed evidence

Null, conflicting, and limiting findings are included on purpose. Cherry-picking only the favorable studies would be its own kind of claim.
